CDEA is the reference organization for research and documentation on culture and development within East Africa region. The scope our research is aligned to the three pillars of sustainable development namely: economy, environment and social.
CDEA’s strategic objective for in the area of research, is to provide the necessary information about culture and development, create more awareness amongst the creative community, civil society, private sector, governing authorities, research entities within and around East Africa to guide them in evidence-based programming.
CDEA also offers consultancy services to development organizations to carry out research in other parts of Africa.
